The Musicquarium has a unique approach to wedding and corporate band bookings. Rather than one ‘standard’ band performing a set repertoire we operate a ‘super band’ with 5 different performance options. You can choose one of our predefined function bands (say, FUNKification) or you can “mix and match” multiple styles. This gives you complete flexibility over the style, instrumentation and repertoire for the live music at your event.

All of our musicians have an excellent pedigree, with most members having backgrounds in the UK’s top music schools. Many of our musicians have also been trained in the ranks of The National Youth Jazz Orchestra and now perform regularly in many of the top London west end shows. The musicians are also very highly sought after for some of today’s most popular recording artists and can be regularly be seen performing with people such as Kylie Minogue, Madness, Duran Duran, Jools Holland, Jamie Cullum, Lilly Allen, Katie Melua, Just Jack, Charlotte Church, Amy Winehouse, Will Young, Incognito and The James Taylor Quartet.

In order to make it possible to give you exactly what you are looking for, no matter what the date, location or budget, we have a variety of live music options for you to choose from and a pool of exceptional professional musicians. You can add performance options at any time (subject to availability) so even if you don’t know exactly what type of function band you need to start with, you can book one of our bands and then add the extras later.
